Hi, I'm JD Bothma, a software developer with a passion for building systems that enable everyone to live comfortably.
My experience ranges from large scale Erlang systems, to Python data processing and ETL, and a lot of civic technology projects.
I enjoy making data useful and make sense, and contributing to positive change.
My broader social interest is a sustainable and equitable economic and political system that tends toward enabling people to live the lives they want as comfortably and sustainably as the environment can allow, and makes it difficult for self-interest to take that away from others.
